Taking ownership in 1985 of Kenneth McDonald Designs, Pamela's father Warren DeYoung was the driving force behind the brand as it evolved throughout the decades, eventually acquiring two partner brands, Designers Resource Collection and Estate of Design. In 2000, Pamela joined the Designers Resource Collection team and shortly thereafter in 2004 the company went through a significant expansion. After becoming a partner with her father in the business in 2004, Pamela chose to expand the brand even further by opening a location in San Diego with business partner Natasha Minasian in 2015. Today, Designers Resource Collection encompasses both DRC Orange County and San Diego, as well as Estate of Design and Kenneth McDonald Designs.  Committed to giving back to the community the company proudly supports philanthropic organizations such as National Charity League, Human Options, The Hebrew Academy, Toys for Tots, South County Outreach and Ronald McDonald House.
