Design Engineering Expo (DEX) 2013 to showcase Canada's brightest innovators

TORONTO, Oct. 15, 2013 /CNW/ - Design Engineering magazine, Canada's leading B2B publication for Canadian mechanical engineers and OEM design leaders, announced that it will showcase some of Canada's most creative engineering minds at the Design Engineering Expo (DEX) 2013.

Dr. Todd Reichert and Cameron Robertson—the engineering designers behind the Canada's Sikorsky Prize-wining human-powered helicopter—will keynote DEX 2013, where they will discuss innovation, the design of the Atlas helicopter and AeroVelo's next "impossible" project.

In addition,Canadian engineer, Jeffrey Azzolin, will display his spring-loaded Bladetech hockey skates and Western Engineering's FIRST Robotics club will demonstrate their robot that won multiple awards at the 2013 FIRST Robotics World Championship.

Scheduled for October 30, 2013 at the Mississauga Convention Centre, the one-day show provides a forum where engineers, product developers and machine builders can meet, network and 'kick the tires' on the latest technologies.
