Dan Goldberg Joins Executive Committee Of SES GLOBAL; CEO of New Skies Satellites to Further Strengthen SES Executive Team

Goldberg to the ExecutiveCommittee of SES, reporting to Mr Romain Bausch, President and CEO ofSES GLOBAL. In addition to his new functions as a Member of theExecutive Committee of SES GLOBAL, Mr Goldberg will continue to leadNew Skies Satellites in the position of President and CEO. Hisappointment to the Executive Committee of SES follows the successfulcompletion of the acquisition of New Skies Satellites by SES GLOBAL asannounced on March 30th, 2006.

Daniel S. Goldberg, Chief Executive Officer of New SkiesSatellites B.V., has been with New Skies Satellites since its creationin October 1998 as a spin-off of INTELSAT, the formerintergovernmental organization. Mr. Goldberg initially served asGeneral Counsel and later as Chief Operating Officer before assumingthe role of CEO in January 2002.

Mr Goldberg joined New Skies from PanAmSat Corporation, where hewas Vice President of Government and Regulatory Affairs and AssociateGeneral Counsel. Prior to PanAmSat, Goldberg was an associate with thetelecommunications law firm Goldberg, Godles, Wiener & Wright, as wellas with Covington and Burling. While in private law practice, herepresented a range of companies, including satellite operators,wireless service providers, broadcasters and computer manufacturers,on commercial and regulatory matters. Mr. Goldberg earned anundergraduate degree from the University of Virginia, graduating withhighest honours, and a law degree from Harvard Law School where hegraduated cum laude.
