CyberOptics Lifts Q4 Sales Outlook, Appoints Subodh Kulkarni As CEO

(RTTNews) - CyberOptics Corporation (CYBE) Monday lifted its sales outlook for the fourth quarter. The company also said it appointed Subodh Kulkarni as its Chief Executive Officer.

CyberOptics now expects fourth-quarter sales of $8.2 million to $8.6 million, up from previous sales guidance of $7.0 million to $8.0 million, due primarily to above-plan sales of SMT inspection systems.

The company anticipates fourth-quarter operating loss of $2.2 million to $2.7 million, which includes a restructuring charge of about $1.0 million, primarily related to the workforce reduction announced in November.

CyberOptics has appointed Subodh Kulkarni as its Chief Executive Officer and President effective as of the February 1, 2014 retirement of Kathleen Iverson.
