Consumer Portfolio Services Q3 Profit Rises

(RTTNews) - Consumer Portfolio Services Inc. (CPSS), Tuesday reported third-quarter net earnings of $7.8 million or $0.24 per share, up from $5.9 million or $0.19 per share last year.

Revenues for the third quarter rose 20.3 percent to $77.1 million from $64.1 million last year.

On average, five analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.22 per share on revenues of $59.63 million for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Total operating expenses for the third quarter rose 18.2 percent to $63.2 million from $53.5 million last year.
