Comcast Corp. Q1 Earnings Rise 2%

(RTTNews) - Comcast Corp. (CMCSK) announced a profit for its first quarter that climbed compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line totaled $2.07 billion, or $0.84 per share. This was higher than $2.03 billion, or $0.79 per share, in last year's first quarter.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 5.3% to $18.79 billion. This was up from $17.85 billion last year.
