Coherent CEO John Ambroseo Announces Plans To Retire By April 2021 - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Coherent, Inc. (COHR) announced Monday that President and Chief Executive Officer John Ambroseo plans to retire from the company no later than April 2021. Ambroseo has entered into a transition services agreement with the company to this effect. He has served as CEO for the past 17 years.

Ambroseo said he wants to shift his long-term attention to his family and philanthropic pursuits.

"As a result I have worked with my fellow directors on the Board on how to best manage a leadership transition, which I am fully committed to making as smooth as possible. Until a transition occurs I remain fully focused on our customers and the company," said John Ambroseo, President and CEO.

The Governance and Nominating Committee of the Board of Directors will lead a global search for Ambroseo's successor.
