Cognex In-Sight Vision Sensors Selected by NEXUS Biosystems

Cognex Corporation (NASDAQ: CGNX) announced today that NEXUS Biosystems, a developer of automation systems for the pharmaceutical and biotech industry, will integrate Cognex’s In-Sight® 5603 vision sensor into its Universal Store® system. The Universal Store is an automated system used in the biotech and pharmaceutical industries for managing hundreds of thousands to millions of laboratory samples and compounds. The In-Sight vision sensors will be used to read data matrix codes etched on each sample vial. The codes enable the Universal Store system to automatically store and then retrieve individual vials when those samples are required for testing.
