Cogeco Cable Q4 Profit Surges, Backs 2015 View; Ups Dividend 16.7% - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Cogeco Cable, Inc. (CCA.TO) reported fourth-quarter profit of C$63.85 million or C$1.30 per share, higher than C$43.87 million or C$0.89 per share for the year-ago quarter.

Revenues for the quarter increased 4.2 percent to C$490.16 million from C$470.39 million in the same quarter last year.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn C$1.26 per share on revenues of C$497.00 million for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Looking ahead to fiscal 2015, the company continues to expect revenues of 2.03 billion and adjusted EBITDA should reach $925 million. Street is currently looking for full-year 2015 revenues of C$2.02 billion.

Cogeco Cable also declared a 16.7 percent higher quarterly eligible dividend of $0.35 per share, payable to the holders of subordinate and multiple voting shares for the first quarter.
