Coach Inc Reveals 5% Gain In Q3 Profit

(RTTNews) - Coach Inc (COH) reported earnings for its third quarter that increased compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line advanced to $130.3 million, or $0.46 per share. This was higher than $124.1 million, or $0.44 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.44 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter fell 3.9% to $0.99 billion. This was down from $1.03 billion last year.
