CI Financial reports assets under management for September 2018

TORONTO, Oct. 1, 2018 /CNW/ - CI Financial Corp. ("CI") today reported preliminary assets under management at September 30, 2018 of $136.4 billion and total assets of $180.6 billion.

Assets under management grew by $14.7 billion or 12.1% year over year, and decreased by 1.4% in the month of September. Total assets gained $18.1 billion or 11.1% for the 12-month period, and decreased 1.3% through the month of September.

CI's average assets under management for the third quarter were $138.3 billion, versus $139.5 billion for the second quarter of 2018. Average assets under management for the year-to-date were $139.9 billion, a gain of $13.6 billion or 10.8% from the average for fiscal 2017.

CI reported assets under advisement at Assante Wealth Management (Canada) Ltd. and Stonegate Private Counsel of $44.2 billion at September 30, 2018, representing an increase of $3.4 billion or 8.3% year over year.
