Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation Hosts 12th Annual "Fore Pete's Sake" Golf Tournament & Banquet

SAN DIEGO, Oct. 2, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation is excited to collaborate with their San Diego partner, the Quad Foundation, to host the 12th Annual "Fore Pete's Sake" Golf Tournament & Banquet on Monday, October 7, 2013.  Originally created to honor Pete Flynn, a vivacious and active young San Diego local injured in a car accident in 2002, this year's event will focus on the values of growth and transformation.  It is an extremely exciting time for scientific researchers in the realm of paralysis.  The Reeve Foundation has responded to the energy in this historical moment by initiating a west coast regional branch, which will solidify its presence in Southern California at this special fundraising event.  Together, the San Diego community and Reeve West will celebrate a new, inspiring momentum for individuals living with spinal cord injury.
