Christian Atwood from Choate, Hall & Stewart Named M&A Advisor 2013 "40 Under 40" Award Winner

BOSTON, July 31, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Christian Atwood, a partner in the Private Equity and Mergers & Acquisitions Groups at Choate, Hall & Stewart LLP, has been named a 2013 "40 Under 40" Award Winner in the Legal Advisor category by The M&A Advisor.  This award is given to a small group of emerging leaders in recognition of their accomplishments in the M&A, financing, and turnaround industries.  Atwood will receive his award at a New York City gala on October 1, 2013. 

Atwood was singled out for this prestigious award because of his reputation as one of the country's top "go-to" middle market M&A attorneys.  He has served as lead or co-lead counsel on over 40 closed deals worth billions of dollars over the past five years.  Since the beginning of 2012, Atwood has advised clients on 15 deals worth nearly $1.5 billion in the aggregate.

Atwood received his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law in 2001 and his A.B. from Dartmouth College in 1998.
