China Yuchai Q2 Profit Declines, Revenue Flat - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - China Yuchai International Ltd. (CYD), a manufacturer and distributor of engines for on-road and off-road applications in China, reported Monday that its second-quarter net earnings attributable to shareholders were RMB 165.4 million or $26.9 million, compared to RMB 166.3 million in 2013.

Earnings per share of RMB 4.44 or $0.72 declined from last ear's RMB 4.46.

Revenue was RMB 4.2 billion or $684.6 million, which was similar to the second quarter of 2013.

Total number of engines sold was 127,799 units compared with 141,147 units in the second quarter of 2013.

The total number of engines sold by GYMCL during the quarter was 127,799 units, down 9.5% from 141,147 units in the same quarter a year ago.
