China Shuangji Cement, Ltd. (OTCBB:CSGJ) ("China Shuangji" or the "Company"), a leading producer of high-quality Portland cement in Shandong and Hainan Provinces in the People’s Republic of China (PRC), today announced an update regarding its Form 8-K filing, "Non-Reliance on Previously Issued Financial Statements or Related Audit Report or Completed Interim Review,” filed on April 15, 2010.

China Shuangji and its new auditors, Bernstein & Pinchuk LLP, are working diligently to get the Company’s amended Form 10-K for 2008 filed as quickly as possible. In addition, the Company noted that its Form 10-K for 2009 contains the restatement of the Company’s 2008 financials and Bernstein & Pinchuk’s audit for both fiscal 2008 and 2009. The Company engaged Bernstein & Pinchuk in January 2010 due to its strong reputation and credibility in auditing approximately 100 U.S.-listed Chinese companies.

"The filing of the audited 10-K for 2009 contained numbers we, and our auditors believe to be reliable,” stated Michelle Zhu, Chief Financial Officer of China Shuangji Cement, Ltd. "We want to reassure our shareholders that we have made every effort to have the strongest financial controls in place, as evidenced by the Company engaging Bernstein & Pinchuk, a firm known for its extensive experience and extraordinary service. We are working closely with our new auditors to resolve this issue expeditiously.”
