CHC Group Q4 Loss Widens

(RTTNews) - CHC Group Ltd. (HELI), the parent company of CHC Helicopter, reported a net loss for the fourth quarter of $108 million or $2.15 per share, compared to a net loss of $23 million or $0.29 per share for the year-ago quarter.

Excluding items, adjusted net loss for the fourth quarter was $32 million or $0.55 per share, compared to an adjusted net loss of $14 million or $0.17 per share in the prior year quarter.

Revenue for the fourth quarter fell 17% to $373.76 million from $452.78 million a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report a loss of $0.44 per share on revenue of $438.97 million for the fourth quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
