Ceradyne, Inc. Receives $8.5 Million Ceramic Body Armor Order; Ceramic

    COSTA MESA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 21, 2005--Ceradyne, Inc. (Company) (Nasdaq:CRDN) announced the receipt of an $8.5 million order for the Company's ceramic body armor system used to protect certain elite U.S. military personnel. This order is scheduled to be shipped starting in June 2006 and completed by March 2007.
