Central Freight Lines Appoints Kansas City Terminal Manager

    KANSAS CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 14, 2005--Dan Clark, Northern Division Vice President at Central Freight Lines, Inc. (Nasdaq:CENF), announced that Scott Allender has been appointed Terminal Manager in Kansas City, Missouri.
    Allender comes to Central with 18 years of transportation experience including management positions at United Parcel Service, Conway Central Express and FedEx freight (formerly America Freightways). His past positions as a hub manager and terminal manager have awarded him a number of accolades, including the FedEx Freight "Terminal Manager of the Year Award."
