Centerplate and University of Louisville to Launch New Hospitality Promotions for 2013 Season
LOUISVILLE, Ky., Aug. 29, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Centerplate, hospitality partner to top sporting venues, convention centers and cultural attractions across North America and the United Kingdom and proud hospitality partner to the University of Louisville, is set to launch the team's hospitality offerings and new merchandise at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium for the upcoming football season.
New for 2013, Centerplate has a new Brookwood Barbeque stand that features mouth-watering plates of pulled pork, beef brisket, smoked sausage and BBQ nachos. Goose Island Craft Beer Cart will offer a few of their most popular year-round and seasonal brews. Centerplate also added two new full-service bars near Gates 1 and 9.
Cardinal Authentic, the official fan merchandise store of the UofL, located near Gate 2, will open 3 and a half hours before kickoff and will have locations throughout the stadium concourses and on the Norton's Terrace. We invite fans to Gear Up for this exciting new season.

This season, the stadium gates open one and a half hours prior to kickoff, for the Cardinals' opening game against Ohio on Sept. 1. Hospitality offerings on the Norton Healthcare Terrace, will offer discounted prices for Centerplate's "Countdown to Kickoff" Promotion. From the time the gates open until 15 minutes prior to kickoff, prices from $1 to $5 will be available for: Philly cheese steak sandwich, domestic beer in cans and on tap, hot dog and chips.
Family special prices will also be available on the UPS Flight Deck concourse. In addition to regular menu items, Centerplate is offering fans a package of four sodas and four regular hot dogs for $20 throughout the day.
