Carl Hess to Succeed Roger Urwin as Global Head of Investment Consulting at Watson Wyatt

WASHINGTON and LONDON, March 31 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Watson Wyatt Worldwide, a leading global consulting firm, today announced that Carl Hess has been appointed global head of investment consulting, effective from 1 July 2008. He will succeed Roger Urwin who, after holding the position for the past 13 years, will take on a newly created role focusing on the global development and delivery of investment research.

Hess has been with Watson Wyatt for almost 20 years and currently serves as the director of the investment consulting practice in the Americas. He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and a Chartered Enterprise Risk Analyst.

Roger Urwin joined Watson Wyatt in 1989 to head up the firm's UK investment consulting practice and then took on the role of the first global head of investment consulting in 1995. In his new role he will have global responsibility for investment thought leadership and research.
