Cantsink Brings New, Accredited Learning Platforms to 2020 World of Concrete
ATLANTA, Jan. 28, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- In addition to its free installer certification training, Cantsink Manufacturing has launched new opportunities to learn about its patented stability products and receive continuing education credits.
Cantsink's free installer training is thorough and hands-on, as participants confirm. Ed Meyer, general manager for The Basement Doctor in Columbus, Ohio, and Ryan Bolan, sales manager, visited the Cantsink booth at the 2019 World of Concrete and signed up for the free training. They said they were impressed with the quality of the training and are very pleased with their experience as a certified Cantsink installer.
"In just the last four months, we've completed a greater percentage of helical pier jobs than in previous years," Meyer said. "Weather patterns have been changing recently, prompting a lot of demand for reliable stability. And even with the recent rains we've had, the gains we've experienced haven't slowed down."
At Booth S13310, Cantsink representatives will be on hand to provide detailed information about Cantsink's patented helical piers and training opportunities. Cantsink products, made in America of 100 percent U.S. steel, are tested and certified for performance to the International Code Council's strict standards.
With its solar-powered, reduced-waste manufacturing process, Cantsink can also contribute to green-building certification credits on projects that use its products. Cantsink has been committed to environmentally friendly practices since its inception more than 30 years ago, and has become a leading contributor to the green economy. Installers can become part of this commitment through Cantsink's installer training.
Cantsink booth visitors can sign up for the free installer certification, provided at Cantsink headquarters. They can also learn how to schedule participation in other accredited training.
As part of its preparation for the 2020 World of Concrete, the company also has added a new line-up of webinars and lunch-and-learn opportunities. These presentations, provided by a professional engineer, create a range of choices for discovering why Cantsink helical piers are ideal for long-term structural stability. Both NCSEA and AIA provide continuing education credits for Cantsink's new presentations on the benefits of and applications for helical piers.
Cantsink Founder and CEO Patrick Hutchinson said Cantsink's education opportunities reflect the company's commitment to ongoing engagement with its installers and other building professionals.
"With more than 30 years' experience in structural stability, we are proud to make the knowledge and innovation we have amassed accessible to builders, architects and engineers," Hutchinson said. "Changing weather patterns are creating new challenges for the built environment. We want construction professionals to know about Cantsink's effective products to ensure lasting stability for homes, buildings and infrastructure in nearly any conditions."
