Canadian Solar Expects Better-than-expected Q1 Revenues - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Solar power company Canadian Solar Inc. (CSIQ), Wednesday in its preliminary results for the first quarter said it expects revenue to be in the range of $460 million - $470 million, higher than the previous guidance of $415 million - $430 million.

The company now sees its solar module shipments improving to nearly 490 MW to 500 MW, compared with the previous guidance of 470 MW to 490 MW. For the first quarter, the firm also expects its gross margin to be in the range of 14 percent - 15 percent versus the previous view of 14 percent -16 percent.
