The initial jump by Canada Goose came after a report from Reuters said the outdoor wear retailer is drawing large crowds at its new store in Beijing.

Despite sub-zero temperatures and a chill in China's relations with Canada, Reuters said a long line of shoppers in thick winter coats queued outside the store on Monday afternoon.
