California Water Service Group to Redeem All Outstanding Shares of Its Series C Preferred Stock
California Water Service Group (NYSE: CWT) today announced that it will
redeem all 139,000 outstanding shares of its 4.4% "Series
C” preferred stock on August 15, 2008. The
Series C will be redeemed in cash at a redemption price of $26.75 per
share, plus all accrued and unpaid dividends in respect of the Series C
up to but not including the redemption date. After completion of the
redemption there will not be any Series C preferred stock remaining
outstanding. The Series C preferred stock is currently quoted on the OTC
Bulletin Board under the symbol "CWSCP.”
The transaction will be completed through American Stock Transfer &
Trust Company LLC in accordance with the Certificate of Incorporation of
California Water Service Group.

Service Company, Hawaii Water Service Company, Inc., CWS Utility
