Burroughs Announces Patent Licensing Agreement with Silver Bullet

PLYMOUTH, Mich. and PENSACOLA, Fla., Aug. 17, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Burroughs, Inc. and Silver Bullet have reached agreement for Burroughs to license its CAPI patent (6,546,396) for use in Silver Bullet's Ranger and follow on software product for use with tabletop scanners.  This license allows Silver Bullet to utilize Burroughs industry leading, patented software technology as part of its industry standard common programming interface for multiple scanners models across multiple scanner manufacturers.
