Buckle June Comps. Down 10.6%

(RTTNews) - Buckle Inc. (BKE) announced that comparable store net sales, for stores open at least one year, for the 5-week period ended July 2, 2016 decreased 10.6 percent in comparison to comparable store net sales for the 5-week period ended July 4, 2015.

Net sales for the 5-week fiscal month ended July 2, 2016 decreased 10.1 percent to $78.3 million compared to net sales of $87.1 million for the prior year 5-week fiscal month ended July 4, 2015.

Comparable store net sales year-to-date for the 22-week period ended July 2, 2016 decreased 11.0 percent from comparable store net sales for the 22-week period ended July 4, 2015. Net sales for the 22-week fiscal period ended July 2, 2016 decreased 10.2 percent to $389.2 million from net sales of $433.6 million for the prior year 22-week fiscal period ended July 4, 2015.
