Brookfield Property Q2 FFO Climbs - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Brookfield Property Partners L.P. (BPY_UN.TO, BPY) Thursday said second-quarter Funds From Operations or FFO was $217 million or $0.32 per unit, compared to $129 million or $0.28 per unit for the comparable period in 2013.

The company attributed the substantial increase in FFO to the acquisition of additional interests in Brookfield Office Properties Inc. and General Growth Properties Inc.

Net income attributable to unit holders climbed to $892 million or $1.31 per unit from $277 million or $0.59 per unit in the prior year.

Net income attributable to limited partners were $270 million, compared to $49 million last year.

Total revenue advanced to $1.215 billion from $1.086 billion in the prior year.
