Brocade Results Top Estimate

(RTTNews) - Brocade Communications Systems Inc (BRCD) Monday reported fourth-quarter net earnings of $83.4 million or $0.19 per share compared with $64.2 million or $0.14 per share last year.

Excluding items, adjusted earnings for the quarter were $0.24 per share.

Revenues for the quarter were $564.4 million compared with $558.8 million in the prior year.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters estimated earnings of $0.23 per share on revenues of $562 million for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Brocade declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.035 per share.
