Bottomline Tech. Q4 Profit Tops Estimates, Revenue Misses

(RTTNews) - Bottomline Technologies (EPAY), a provider of cloud-based payment, invoice and digital banking solutions, on Tuesday reported fourth-quarter net loss of $21.6 million or $0.57 per share compared with a loss of $1.5 million or $0.04 per share last year.

Excluding items, adjusted earnings for the quarter were $0.35 per share compared with $0.39 per share a year ago.

Revenues for the quarter were $85.4 million compared with $81.7 million in the prior year.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters estimated earnings of $0.33 per share on revenues of $87 million for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
