Boost Mobile Receives Two Awards from J.D. Power and Associates as Highest-Ranked in Customer Service Performance and Purchase Experience Among Non-Contract Wireless Providers
Boost Mobile, a leader in no-contract wireless service with its popular $50 Monthly Unlimited plan, ranks Highest in Customer Service Performance and Purchase Experience among Non-Contract Wireless Providers by J.D. Power and Associates. This is the third recognition for Boost Mobile this year in a J.D. Power customer study representing the highest-performing no-contract wireless company delivering service excellence to U.S. customers.
"We recognize that interest in no-contract plans continue to grow as consumers across the nation are rationalizing their monthly wireless expenses and looking for opportunities to save real money,” said Andre Smith, vice president-Boost Mobile. "Receiving three J.D. Power and Associates awards in less than one year demonstrates Boost Mobile’s commitment to enhance our experience and become the best viable option for customers searching for unlimited no-contract offers.”
In October 2010, Boost Mobile launched an industry first with the $50 Monthly Unlimited with Shrinkage plan, where the longer you stay, the less you pay. For every six on-time payments, a Boost Mobile customer’s monthly cost will shrink by $5, eventually getting down to as low as $35 a month for unlimited nationwide talk, text, Web, email and calls to 411. Payments do not need to be consecutive to qualify for the next savings milestone. Additionally, Boost Mobile offers a diverse handset lineup from entry-level devices to Android-powered smartphones including the recently launched Samsung Galaxy Prevail.
Boost Mobile ranks highest in Customer Service Performance among no-contract service providers, with an overall score of 763, and performs highest in phone contacts that originate in the automated response systems channel and are then transferred to a live service representative and through phone calls made directly to customer service representatives. The 2011 Wireless Customer Care Non-Contract Study – Volume 2 is based on responses from 1,460 wireless customers who contacted their carrier’s customer care department within the past six months. The study was fielded from January through June 2011.
Boost Mobile ranks highest in overall Purchase Experience among no-contract and full-service providers, with an overall score of 766. The brand performs particularly well in phone sales representative, offerings and promotions and cost of service. The 2011 Wireless Non-Contract Purchase Experience Study – Volume 2 is based on responses from 1,767 wireless customers who reported having a sales transaction with their current carrier within the past six months. The study was fielded from January through June 2011.
"Both of these awards highlight the efforts of our front-line team members across customer care and sales who showcase the Boost Mobile experience on a daily basis,” Smith said. "These front-line representatives are supported by a collective Boost team focused on maintaining simplicity in our offers and establishing Boost Mobile as a reputable customer advocate in the wireless space.”
