Body Central To Consider Strategic Alternatives

(RTTNews) - Specialty retailer Body Central Corp (BODY) said Wednesday it has retained Houlihan Lokey Capital Inc as its financial advisor and/or placement agent to assist the company in considering a range of financing, transactional and strategic alternatives.

The Jacksonville, Florida-based company said it can give no assurance that a transaction of any kind will occur.

Founded in 1972, Body Central offers apparel and accessories at value prices. As of April 23, 2014 the company operated 282 specialty apparel stores in 28 states under the Body Central and Body Shop banners, as well as a direct business comprised of a Body Central catalog and an e-commerce website.
