BMW April Sales Up 2.0% - Qucik Facts

(RTTNews) - German luxury car giant Bayerische Motoren Werke AG or BMW Group (BAMXY.PK, BAMXF.PK, BMW.L) said Thursday that it sold 29,592 vehicles for the month of April, up 2.0 percent from last year's 29,011 vehicles.

BMW brand worldwide sales for the month increased 8.5% to 25,202 vehicles from the previous year's 23,225 vehicles.

For April, MINI USA reported 4,390 automobiles, a decrease of 24.1 percent from the 5,786 automobiles sold in the same month a year ago.

In April, best performing vehicles included the 2 Series, up 16.1 percent to 727 units, the 3/4 Series, up 18.9 percent to 9,794 units, the X3 Sports Activity Vehicle or SAV, up 85.2 percent to 3,544 units and the X5 SAV, up 27.6 percent to 4,393 units.
