Blackbaud Launches New Online Fundraising and Marketing Solution to Help Nonprofits Reach and Engage More Supporters

Blackbaud, Inc. (Nasdaq: BLKB) today announced the availability of Blackbaud NetCommunity Spark, a solution designed to help nonprofits complement and expand their existing online presence. Organizations including American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee, Detroit Zoological Society, and Hui No’Eau Visual Arts Center have recently selected and will use the solution to improve their supporters’ online experience and activate two-way communications.

"Organizations need their websites to do more than just share information—Blackbaud NetCommunity Spark helps bring nonprofit websites to life,” said Allison Van Diest, Blackbaud’s Internet solutions market manager. "Spark helps nonprofits create an interactive online experience by providing two-way communication through email, events, and online transactions, improving the online experience by keeping supporters interested and engaged.”

Powered by The Raiser’s Edge®, Blackbaud NetCommunity Spark combines the industry’s most powerful fundraising system with superior email communication, online fundraising, event, and optional volunteer and membership tools to help nonprofits meet their goals.

"We believe Blackbaud NetCommunity Spark will help take our online fundraising program to the next level,” said Haythem Khalil, American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee’s development director. "With the customized contribution pages, professional email templates, campaign tracking, and great client service team, it is a fundraiser’s #1 solution.”

With Blackbaud NetCommunity Spark, nonprofits can transform their existing website and online marketing with:

  • Unmatched online fundraising tools

  • Online event management and registrations

"Blackbaud NetCommunity Spark will help us redefine how we approach online fundraising and email marketing,” said Aaron Tockstein, Detroit Zoological Society’s database administrator. "We will now be able to better craft messaging to supporters through tracking and testing of email campaigns and online fundraising forms. By developing a members-only section on our website, we will also be able to provide enhanced online benefits in a very cost-effective way.”
