Black Box Q1 Profit Down

(RTTNews) - Black Box Corporation (BBOX) Tuesday reported first-quarter net income of $3.9 million or $0.25 per share, down from $6.9 million or $0.43 per share last year.

Operating income for the quarter was $6.4 million or $0.41 per share, down from $8.7 million or $0.54 per share last year.

Revenues dropped 1 percent to $245.2 million from $246.9 million last year.

Looking forward to the second quarter, the company expects revenues of $250 million to $255 million and operating earnings of $0.50 to $0.55 per share.

For the fiscal year 2015, the company expects revenues of $990 million to $1.01 billion and operating earnings of $2.07 to $2.27 per share.
