Biometrics Coming to a Pharmacy Near You

MISSION, Kan., Aug. 29, 2013 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Xelios Biometrics and ScriptPro are pleased to announce they have entered into a multi-year licensing agreement whereby Xelios will supply biometric authentication technology to be used in ScriptPro's pharmacy automation and management systems.

ScriptPro will use Xelios Biometrics during the prescription dispensing process to identify authorized pharmacy staff and track and store information about who handles a prescription. The goal is to provide ScriptPro customers a biometric alternative to replace ID cards and PIN codes currently in use.
