Berkshire Q4 Profit Climbs - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Billionaire Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway Inc. (BRK.A, BRK.B) reported fourth-quarter net earnings attributable to Berkshire shareholders of $4.99 billion or $3,035 per Class A equivalent share, up from $4.55 billion or $2,757 per Class A equivalent share in the year-ago quarter.

Operating earnings rose to $3.78 billion or $2,297 per Class A equivalent share from $2.81 billion or $1,704 per Class A equivalent share in the same quarter a year ago.

Revenue for the quarter was $47.05 billion, higher than $44.72 billion in the comparable quarter last year.
