Benchmark Electronics Names Paul Tufano President & CEO; Affirms Q3 Guidance

(RTTNews) - Benchmark Electronics, Inc. (BHE) announced it has named Paul Tufano as President and CEO, replacing Gayla Delly who has resigned from her positions as President, CEO and as a member of the Board. The appointment is effective immediately. Tufano will remain on the company's Board as a non-independent member.

Tufano joined the company's Board in February 2016. Most recently, he served as CFO of the Alcatel-Lucent Group, a telecommunications company, from 2008 through 2013, where he also served as Chief Operating Officer from 2012-2013.

Benchmark Electronics reaffirmed its previous guidance for the third quarter. The company continues to expect: revenue between $570-600 million; GAAP earnings per share between $0.28-0.33; and non-GAAP earnings per share between $0.33-0.38.
