Benchmark Electronics Inc Q3 Profit Rises 11%

(RTTNews) - Benchmark Electronics Inc (BHE) released earnings for its third quarter that climbed from last year.

The company said its bottom line came in at $20 million, or $0.39 per share. This was up from $18 million, or $0.36 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.34 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 5.2% to $604 million. This was up from $574 million last year.
