BearingPoint Names Peter Mockler Head of EMEA

MCLEAN, Va., Jan. 20 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- BearingPoint, Inc. , a leading global management and technology consulting firm, announced today that it has appointed Peter Mockler as Executive Vice President of Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) as well as Chairman of the Management Board of Germany, Austria and Switzerland, effective immediately. In this new role, Mockler will also become a member of BearingPoint's Executive Committee.

Mockler, a member of the Management Board of Germany, Austria and Switzerland since February 2003, has served as Industry Leader Public Services/Infrastructure Services (PS/IS) Germany, Austria and Switzerland since February 2003. Throughout his career he has been responsible for a wide range of consulting assignments covering ERP implementations, supply chain management solutions, strategic planning as well as business process improvement, and was significantly involved in developing strategic key accounts in the German-speaking region. He joined BearingPoint in 1989 and was promoted to partner in 1997.
