BCB Bancorp Q3 Profit Up

(RTTNews) - BCB Bancorp Inc. (BCBP) Friday reported third-quarter net income of $4.6 million or $0.27 per share, up from $3.2 million or $0.25 per share last year.

Net interest income, before the provision for loan losses, increased 28.9 percent to $20.1 million from $15.6 million in the third quarter a year ago.

Net interest margin was 3.22 percent in the third quarter, down from 3.50 a year ago. Provision for loan losses increased to $907 thousand from $511 thousand last year.

e Company also announced that its Board of Directors declared a regular quarterly cash dividend of $0.14 per share. The dividend will be payable November 16, 2018, to common shareholders of record on November 2, 2018.
