Bally Technologies Demonstrates Commitment to Tribal Gaming Partnerships with Extensive Games, Systems, and Server-Based Solutions Showcase at NIGA Indian Gaming 2011 Tradeshow April 3-6 in Phoenix
Bally Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: BYI), a leader in slots, video machines, casino-management, and networked and server-based systems for the global gaming industry, today announced its most innovative array of products to be featured at this year’s NIGA Indian Gaming Tradeshow & Convention, April 3 – 6 at the Phoenix Convention Center.
"Bally will again show NIGA our commitment to being ‘Your Partner in Innovation’,” said Richard M. Haddrill, Chief Executive Officer of Bally Technologies. "We will showcase the first ever introduction of a 22-inch curved LCD display cabinet game Code Red™, and innovative floor-wide point-of-play instant bonus events delivered by our iVIEW DM™ player network and our new Elite Bonusing Suite™ product suite.”
Bally will feature a host of system solutions and server-based technologies in its 2,000 sq. ft. booth #1204, along with more than 60 games including exciting new titles such as Betty Boop’s Love Meter™ and the latest iteration of its wildly successful U-Spin™ technology featured in Money Vault™ , Hot Spin™, and in the U-Win™ mystery bonus on the iDeck™ .
Bally Debuts Industry’s First Curved LCD Cabinet; New Pro Series V32 Design
Debuting first at Indian Gaming 2011 are two new cabinets in Bally’s Pro Series family – the Pro V32 and Pro Curve.
Featuring a first-of-its-kind 22-inch "curved” LCD display, the Pro Curve offers players the look and feel of a traditional reel-spinning slot with the modern convenience and technology of video. Bally’s next-generation gaming cabinet takes display and player-interface technology to the next level with the iDeck touch-screen button deck and a touch-screen display over the "curved” LCD that enables play mechanics such as U-Spin. The Pro Curve is the first fully digital gaming solution that supports three-reel, four-reel, or five-reel game configurations and theme selection on demand.
The sleek, trim, and modern Pro Series™ V32 cabinet is designed for today and ready for tomorrow. Re-imagined from the ground up based on extensive operator feedback, the Pro V32 sets a new benchmark of unrivaled player comfort, interaction, and control. With its brilliant 32-inch vertical HD video touch-enabled display, custom surround sound, lighting synchronized to game play, and easy serviceability, this striking new platform showcases Bally’s high-performing game content to its full extent and is a visual standout on casino floors.
New Games Feature Rich Graphics, Animations, and New and Expanding Play Mechanics
Code Red
Debuting first at Indian Gaming 2011, Bally showcases Code Red, a new video slot utilizing Bally’s proprietary ALPHA 2 game electronics housed in the new Pro Series Upright Curve cabinet, with the industry’s first 22-inch "curved” LCD display offering players the look and feel of a traditional reel-spinning slot in a video cabinet.
Code Red offers a number of interactive features currently only seen in video games. Featuring Bally’s award-winning U-Spin gesture-control play mechanic to award free games, progressive jackpots, or bonus credits, Code Red is highlighted by a new Free Games play mechanic that showcases prizes on each reel – above the reel strip. Players can win either bonus credits, locked wild symbols, or a locked wild reel during the free games feature.
Money Vault
With a life-changing $1 million penny progressive jackpot, Money Vault offers the U-Spin and Directional Wilds™ play mechanics. The game is featured on Bally’s ALPHA 2 Pro Series™ Hammerhead™ cabinet, an exceptional cabinet design featuring a jumbo-sized 32-inch upper display with a Super Pointer. The U-Spin Wheel is synchronized with the top-box display – making every bonus event an attention-grabbing celebration for everyone to see.
Hot Spin
Bally heats up the floor with Hot Spin, the red-hot follow-up to the U-Spin sensation Cash Spin. Players not only spin the interactive bonus wheel, but also choose the level of intensity – fewer spins with higher payouts, or more spins with lower payouts. With the ability to engage every type of player and all styles of play, Hot Spin offers a "sure bet” for operators.
Betty Boop’s Love Meter
Bally brings the sexy animated cartoon character from the mid-1930s back in Betty Boop’s Love Meter™, with a towering Love Meter top box where players can win credits, free games, and a top wide-area progressive jackpot award that starts at $1 million. There’s even a special "Love Meter” feature called "How Hot Are You?” in which players put their hands on the iDeck™ interactive touch-screen button deck to get their "love temperature” taken. Just like an old-time Love Meter, the lights move from "Loveable” all the way up to "Irresistible.” When the meter stops, the panel flips to reveal an award (credit value). Betty Boop’s Love Meter is also available in two near-area progressive versions.
Floorwide-Bonusing Applications Add Excitement to Game Play
Coming on the heels of Bally’s most successful and well-attended Systems User Conference held earlier this month at Pechanga Resort & Casino in Temecula, Calif. with more than 400 casino operators in attendance, a major focus in Bally’s exhibit will be live demonstrations of the floor-wide Elite Bonusing Suite applications through the iVIEW™ and iVIEW DM in-game player-user-interface.
Many of these applications, which include Virtual Racing™, U-Spin™ Bonusing, and DM Tournaments™, were showcased on the live casino floor during the Systems User Conference via Pechanga’s iVIEW network on gaming devices from five slot manufacturers.
The iVIEW and iVIEW DM player-user-interfaces, when combined with Bally’s Elite Bonusing Suite applications, deliver floor-wide, interaction promotions, offer a second-chance-to-win, and the ability for players to earn valuable rewards - all without interrupting play on their base game. These interactive applications enable players to spin wheels, select and root for their favorite contest-driven car or horse, get instant rewards on their birthday, and participate in floor-wide slot tournaments.
"Casino guests and Systems User Conference attendees alike were delighted with the floor-wide promotions at Pechanga, and they will be a major focus at our NIGA exhibit,” said Ramesh Srinivasan, Bally’s President and Chief Operating Officer. "These applications not only provide a positive experience for the player, but also deliver measurable ROI for operators.”
One key Bally slot-management system featured at the show will be SDS® for Windows®. From small betting parlors to the slot floors of megaresorts, this system is the preferred choice of operators around the world. SDS is a slot-accounting and player-tracking data collection system offering superior single-wire functionality that even works on older machines from a variety of manufacturers. Enabling operators to integrate their entire slot accounting, player tracking, centralized reporting, database marketing, and cashless functions on one network, SDS for Windows is a superior choice for casino operations of any size.
SDS is part of Bally’s strong lineup of slot-management systems that includes ACSC™, SDS, and Bally MultiConnect™.
Bally will also showcase its CMP player-tracking system and arsenal of proven promotional software at Indian Gaming 2011.
