Avnet Electronics Marketing Wins Murata President's Award

Avnet Electronics Marketing, an operating group of Avnet, Inc. (NYSE: AVT), has been awarded Murata Electronics North America’s 2006 President’s Award. Avnet was selected for this award based upon its outstanding performance during Murata’s 2006 fiscal year, which ended in March of 2007. The award recognizes Avnet’s year-on-year sales growth, sales achievement, new customer expansion, and Avnet’s outstanding contribution to Murata’s success.
