Astec Industries Announces 58% Fall In Q4 Bottom Line

(RTTNews) - Astec Industries (ASTE) reported a profit for fourth quarter that retreated from last year.

The company said its bottom line fell to $3.6 million, or $0.16 per share. This was down from $8.5 million, or $0.37 per share, in last year's fourth quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.36 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter fell 10.2% to $215.02 million. This was down from $239.51 million last year.
