Aspen Technology Q4 Results Top Estimates

(RTTNews) - Aspen Technology, Inc. (AZPN) reported net income for the fourth quarter of $30.8 million or $0.36 per share, compared to $26.7 million or $0.29 per share for the year-ago quarter.

Excluding items, adjusted net income for the fourth quarter was $33.1 million or $0.39 per share, compared to $28.7 million or $0.31 per share in the prior year quarter.

Total revenue for the fourth quarter rose 12.5% to $114.19 million from $101.53 million a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.34 per share on revenue of $112.46 million for the fourth quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
