AsiaInfo-Linkage Stockholders Approve Merger - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - AsiaInfo-Linkage Inc. (ASIA), a provider of telecommunication software solutions and services in China, announced that, at a special meeting, its stockholders voted in favor of the proposal to adopt merger among the company, Skipper Limited, and Skipper Acquisition Corporation. The merger was approved by approximately 52.75% of the outstanding shares of company common stock.

Skipper Acquisition Corporation will be merged with and into AsiaInfo-Linkage, with AsiaInfo-Linkage continuing as the surviving company after the merger as a wholly owned subsidiary of Skipper Limited. AsiaInfo-Linkage common stock will no longer be listed on the NASDAQ Global Market.

The parties currently expect to complete the merger in the first quarter of 2014.
