Arrow Electronics Closes Acquisition Of Computerlinks - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Arrow Electronics Inc. (ARW) announced Monday that it has completed its acquisition of Computerlinks, a value-added distributor with a comprehensive offering of IT solutions from many of the technology suppliers. The purchase price was about 230 million euros or $317 million.

Headquartered in Munich, Germany, Computerlinks has operations in Europe, North America, the Middle East and Asia. Sales in 2013 are estimated to total about 700 million euros or $966 million, in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles in the United States, and this acquisition is expected to be $0.20 to $0.24 accretive to earnings per share, excluding the impact of the amortization of related intangible assets, in the first year post closing.

In August 2013, Arrow Electronics announced that it agreed to acquire Computerlinks.
