ARAMARK Expands Partnership With Airbus Deutschland; Relationship Marks Company's Largest German Account

ARAMARK International has expanded its relationship withAirbus Deutschland to provide dining services to approximately 21,000employees at seven Airbus locations across Germany, it was announcedtoday. Under a five year agreement with sales estimated to total up to$14 million per year, ARAMARK will operate restaurants, kiosks andretail shops, as well as the aircraft manufacturer's vending andcatering operations.

For the past 10 years, ARAMARK has provided food service at theAirbus fuselage manufacturing facility in Nordenham. With the expandedrelationship, ARAMARK will hire approximately 140 employees to serveAirbus operations in Hamburg Finkenwerder, Hamburg Fuhlsbuttel, Stade,Varel, Bremen and Buxtehude. Previously, Airbus Deutschland's foodservice operations at these locations were managed by a combination ofin-house capabilities and an outside food service provider.

ARAMARK will update five business dining facilities including newmenus, and stations that provide employees with made to order foodoptions. The vending program will receive new machines, stocked withbrand-name snack offerings, and the shops and stores will undergo aredesign offering a new selection of popular brand items. ARAMARK alsois planning events for Airbus employees to launch the new food serviceprogram.
