AppliedMicro Circuits Appoints Doug Ahrens As Vice President, CFO - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Applied Micro Circuits Corp. (AMCC) also known as AppliedMicro, announced the appointment of semiconductor veteran Douglas Ahrens as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer or CFO. Ahrens' employment with AppliedMicro is scheduled to commence October 17, 2013.

Commenting on Ahrens, the company stated that most recently he served as the Vice President of Finance at Maxim Integrated in San Jose, California. Ahrens joined Maxim Integrated in 2001 as Director, Business Unit Finance. He was promoted multiple times during his tenure at Maxim before assuming his role as the Vice President of Finance.

He joined Maxim in 2001 after spending six years at Intel Corporation, AppliedMicro noted.
