Apple Eyes Time Warner Business: Report

(RTTNews) - Technology giant apple is reportedly in a move to acquire Time Warner Inc. However, Apple and Time Warner have not commented on the report published in the New York Post. AT&T is said to be the other suitor for the Time Warner.

Activists have been said to be mounting pressure on the media and entertainment company for a spin-off or a sale. A few months ago, it had rejected the offer from 21st Century Fox.

Apple has been looking for a perfect platform to support its upcoming streaming television service. A possible combination could help Apple access rich content: HBO shows, CNN news, Turner Sports, Warner Bros. Movies, etc.
