Aon plc Q3 adjusted earnings of $1.30 per share

(RTTNews) - Aon plc (AON) reported earnings for third quarter that declined from last year.

The company's earnings came in at $147 million, or $0.60 per share. This compares with $185 million, or $0.72 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Excluding items, Aon plc reported adjusted earnings of $319 million or $1.30 per share for the period.

The company's revenue for the quarter rose 0.4% to $2.35 billion from $2.34 billion last year.
